I had a fundraiser at hazel salon. It was so fun.The people working there were so kind! So many people came to the fundraiser. If you came to the fund raiser thank you so much . We raised $1,119! Now we only have $276 more to raise!

Hazel Salon Cut-A-Thon

Our friends at Hazel Salon in Phinney Ridge are hosting a Josie's Well Cut-A-Thon!

Their stylists are donating their time on July 19 from 11am-4pm and making a donation to Josie's Well with the proceeds from their services! 25% of product sales will also toward their donation.

June Updates and Charity Fun

I've have been busy working on my charity,and I've had lots fun.

My friend Anily and I washed some cars to raise some money for Josie's Well.

We made some friends at Umpqua Bank who shared some information about my project and collected donations from their customers.

The people at the Greenwood car show were very nice to let us have a stand, where we sold Otter Pops and collected more donations.

With donations and pledges from donors, we are already almost two thirds of the way to funding our well!!!

The Stoup fundraiser

On Thursday I had a fundraiser at Stoup Brewing, in Ballard. It was a wonderful day on Thursday. Thanks to every one who donated. It was super fun! I doubled my total funds raised in donations and pledges!! My family and friends were there and so were some donors and new friends from Water Access Now!!

A very special donation today!!

Aaron and Eli donated more than a year's allowance for charity today, becoming one of our top donors! Thank you!!!!!

The yard sale stand started slow but thanks to people like Aaron and Eli and my kindergarten teacher, Mrs Shumacher, and everyone who stopped by, we did well 😄 and raised another $120. I've collected almost $1,000 now, which puts us very close to $2,000 of our funding goal of $10,000. Awesome!

Our first fundraiser is this Thursday night at Stoup Brewing. I'm so excited! Hope to see you there!!!

Upcoming Fundraisers

Hi! I will be at Greenwood Elementary this Saturday, May 30 from 9am-noon, at the Yard Sale for Africa. I will set up my Water for Water for Africa stand and be in charge of the bake sale!


I am very excited for our  fundraiser next week, on June 4 at Stoup Brewing in Ballard. You can visit me there at my stand from 5-7, and Stoup will donate $1 per pint sold.

Summer is almost here, send me an email if you want to set up water stands with me after school gets out. It's really fun and we can help a whole village get access to clean water, which feels really good!

I am working on more fundraisers around Phinney Ridge, I'll tell you all about them when I get more details. Also, I don't want to spoil the surpise!!

Zoo Stand

Hi guys! Have you seen the Tigers at the zoo? I have, and I love the tigers. You should check them out. I will be at the west entrance of the Woodland Park Zoo today, and if you guys come you can visit me at my stand.

First donation!

Last night I deposited my first donation to our well! This weekend I raised $640 at my water stand, and since every dollar was matched, I am up to $1,240 toward my goal of $10,000 to build the well. Thanks to everyone who has supported my project. This is my friend Jan, from Water Access Now accepting our first donation for Josie's Well.

yesterday I did my first stand!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday [May 8] I did my first stand!!! I did it at The Ridge, and raised $300. and I'm doing it another time today I will be there as well. If you donate I will give you as many glasses of water as you want. I will be taking donations during the art walk. See you there!

matching fund

I had a meeting with the board of directors for Water Access Now. It went great! They were very nice, in fact, after I did a presentation about my charity, one person at the meeting offered a $5000 matching program for my well!!!. every dollar I raise between now and October 4 will get matched dollar for dollar. we are already half way there!
